IOLTA Account

Interest on Lawyers Trust Account (IOLTA) is a way for lawyers to earn interest on trust accounts and for the interest to be paid directly to the Tennessee Bar Foundation's IOLTA Fund. These are somewhat complicated as the fees and interest parameters are unique to these IOLTA's.

 

Christmas Club Account
One Christmas Club account per person
Deposit $1-$20 per week for 50 weeks
January 31st last day to open
51st payment paid by SCB
October 31st last day for deposits
Checks processed in November
The 51st payment is forfeited if account is closed early
Free automatic funds transfers from any SCB account.

 

SCB Freedom card (ATM/Debit) available for all accounts (excluding Christmas Club Accounts) when linked to an SCB checking account. 

Card Replacement Fee

There is a $5.00 fee for replacing lost or stolen cards.

 

Funds Availability Policy
Our general policy is to allow you to withdraw funds deposited in your account on the next business day after the day we receive your deposit. Funds from electronic direct deposits will be available on the day we receive the deposit. In some cases, we may delay your ability to withdraw funds beyond the next business day. Then, the funds will generally be available by the fifth business day after the day of deposit.


Note:  All accounts have free access to the Teller Information Phone (TIP) by calling (865) 429-4636 and to SCB Online Banking via the internet by enrolling in the service. All accounts also have free automatic monthly transfers from any SCB account through online banking.
